Gowran Building Design was founded by Marty Gowran, a passionate designer with over a decade of experience working on projects across Queensland (QBCC Licenced) and beyond. Marty has a genuine passion for efficient, well-considered design creating site plans, spaces and buildings that make the most for their inhabitants.

Marty’s approach is grounded in strong technical knowledge and years of professional experience. Drawing on a Diploma of Building Design, a Bachelor of Applied Science (Architecture) and hands on industry practice, he delivers pragmatic and efficient design solutions that are focused on maximising return on investment while remaining responsive to the needs of each project.

Commercial projects are Gowran Building Design’s specialty, with experience ranging from smaller developments through to larger, complex projects where site optimisation and internal efficiency are critical.

Residential projects, including new homes, renovations and alterations, are passion projects offering the opportunity to create highly considered spaces with a focus on sustainability, passive design principles and long-term liveability.
